Amal has 11 years’ experience in the media industry working across both traditional media and digital roles.
She is relatively recent addition to the Initiative team, having been with the agency for just over a year. Lucky enough she has been working on great clients like Etisalat, Johnson & Johnson, and Huawei amongst others.
She started her career at UM and was part of the team that paved the way for UM’s exponential growth in market, winning accounts such as Coca Cola, Mondelez and L’Oreal, to name just a few.

An early adopter of digital, she was responsible for establishing the media department at Digital Republic, one of the earliest digital agencies in Egypt, back in 2011.
