Dr. Tobias Bartholomé

Dr. Tobias Bartholomé is a seasoned HR leader with over 15 years of experience specializing in Strategic Workforce Planning, People Analytics & Insights, Talent Management, Change Management, and HR Transformation. Currently serving as Project Lead for Strategic Workforce Planning at Lufthansa Group, Tobias is dedicated to strengthening the organization’s future-focused talent strategies through data-driven decision-making and business-aligned HR initiatives.

Passionate about people, leadership, and transformative journeys, Tobias has played a pivotal role in Lufthansa’s major restructuring efforts. He led critical initiatives, including the company’s largest reorganization and the redundancy management program “now!,” ensuring socially responsible, people-centered HR transformations during the COVID-19 crisis.

Previously, Tobias held senior leadership roles at Lufthansa, including Senior Director HR Management for Corporate, Commercial & IT functions, overseeing HR lifecycle processes for over 4,000 employees. His international experience includes serving as Senior Director of Recruiting & Talent Scouting at Swiss International Air Lines, Process Owner for Recruiting & Sourcing at Lufthansa Group, and Team Leader for HR Development at Lufthansa Cargo AG.

Tobias holds a Doctorate from Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, where he also worked as a Research Associate specializing in Pedagogical Psychology and Learning with Media. He is driven by the belief that understanding people is at the heart of business success—a principle he lives by as a speaker, facilitator, and HR strategist.
