Giovanni Manchia

Giovanni Manchia is a Senior HR leader and transformation manager with international experience in medium and large European and US companies (both headquarter and subsidiary levels). He is specialized in the areas of transformation/change management, Talent Management and HR Functional Excellence. As a change leader, Giovanni managed transformations across various sectors (Tech, Financial Services, Healthcare, Energy) and within various countries (the Netherlands, Chile, Israel, Uganda and Sierra Leone). He also worked with several executives and executive teams to improve their individual and team performance. In addition, he works as a lecturer at the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), teaching Change Management and HRM. Prior to starting his own consultancy firm, he has worked more than 20 years in international HR leadership positions at various multinationals. He acted as SVP Human Resources within Rabobank, where he managed the transformation of the global human resources function within the bank, creating a more agile HR organization with a strong business orientation. Before joining Rabobank, he worked as the HR Director Benelux, Middle East and Africa within American Express. Giovanni started his career at Shell, where he worked in various international positions such as HR Manager for Shell Hydrogen and Global HR Business Partner for its IT division. Giovanni Manchia holds a Msc degree in Management and Organization from TiasNimbas/Tilburg University (cum laude/ with distinction) and a MA degree in Consulting and Coaching for Change from INSEAD (cum laude/ with distinction).
