Matthias Besserer has been working in the field of HR for almost 20 years. He started as an HR Business Partner in the fashion industry and assumed increasingly responsible HR positions in companies like General Electric, Getty Images (including a one year assignment as Global Head of Comp and Benefits in Seatttle, WA, USA). In August 2008 he joined NVIDIA as their HR Director for EMEA. In this function he covers 12 countries and is responsible for the full range of state of the art HR work. With his strong generalist background and his hands-on mentality he is counseling with managers and employees, actively involved in the growth strategies (including change management) of the company, resource and succession planning, L&D as well as recruiting.
