Nina Falkstrand

Nina Falkstrand has for over 20 years been part of the world leading provider of transport solutions, the Swedish truck and bus manufacturer Scania. In her current role she is the Head of Learning and Development, Scania Academy. Scania Academy’s mission is to enable a learning culture for Scania’s 57 000 employees, helping to provide the best solutions that increase and secure the right skills, behaviors and attitudes to reach the business goals.
Her previous positions in the company include Head of HR for the Research and Development organization, Head of HR for the Sales and Marketing organization and Manager for the Occupational Health team. Nina started her HR career with the petrol company Preem and the employer branding company Universum.
Nina’s drive and passion for HR also shows in her engagement in HR the Real Deal - a non-profit network for HR professionals she co-founded in 2018.
As a proud mother of three daughters, 20 year old twins and an eighth grader, spending time with her family is an important part of her life. Her many years of engagement in the Swedish Scout Movement rendered her a seat on the National Board two years ago, an assignment she is very grateful
for. For any extra time over she never misses a chance to read a good book, newspaper or magazine, may it be on the beach, in bed, or at breakfast.
