Omneya started her healthcare PR career as a Regional Health Program Communications Manager for Special Olympics MENA where she planned, conducted, and executed the program for different healthcare disciplines in the region supporting children with special needs. Prior to that, she has worked in politics and women’s issues. Omneya has diverse public relations, corporate social responsibility and crisis communications experience in different industries at client and agency side including healthcare, automotive, banking, hospitality and social community. She has over than twelve years of experience in the public relations field and is currently heading the Communications function for Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Boehringer Ingelheim, one of the worlds leading pharmaceutical companies. As a Head of Communications she is responsible for internal and external communications including PR, social media, CSR, patients advocacy relationships and crisis communications.
