Simon has extensive experience in advising global businesses on issues preparations and mitigation with deep expertise on countering mis/dis and malinformation attacks. During his seven years in the public sector, he led operational teams in the research, designand execution of messaging campaigns in support of NATO. He worked alongside several British Government agencies to deliver informational impact and operational effect. For his work against the terrorist organization ISIS, he was awarded an MBE by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Simon has delivered training in holistic problem solving to the Dutch Special Forces, provided planning support to British Army HQ on mitigating the Grey Zone threat, built an audience analysis methodology for a group of eight countries to help tackle malign messaging, and briefed at NATO Headquarters on the best practice in creating informational resilience for organizations.
Upon entering the private sector, Simon has been successful in advising an extensive list of clients across industries, sectors and markets. This has included supporting a global professional services firm in the removal of their businesses from Russia and Belarus, providing actionable insights and advice to a major financial services firm to help counter a sustained political and financially damaging attack, and aiding a leading healthcare company in navigating and blunting persistent misinformation from highly motivated activists.
